iCapture™ 45
iCapture™45* is a non-mydriatic and mydriatic multispectral retinal imaging camera with a 45◦ field of view, powered by Spring Vision’s proprietary technology.
Multispectral imaging, combined with retinal tissue oximetry (under clinical investigation) and additional unique features of the iCapture™45, is expected to revolutionize the diagnostic ability and clinical application of retinal imaging, towards a better forecast of retinal and systemic diseases through retinal imaging.
With an exceptional combination of multispectral retinal imaging, retinal tissue oximetry and microvascular spatial visualization of the retina and choroid, iCapture™45 also offers the Layers view: a qualitative relative presentation of the defect location within the retina sphere. This dimensional reflection results in a differentiation between healthy and diseased retinal tissues.
iCapture™45 will be launched in mid-2022, to be followed by additional innovative products.

The macular hole is most visible in the intermediate layer, providing an indication of the location of the defect.
Whilst the superficial layer presents traumatic changes in sensory retina, the intermediate layer shows that this is not a pseudo-hole based on the clear contour of the hole. The deep layer also shows that the darker areas are less oxygenated than the brighter areas.
